TENSION
& TEAMWORK

Survival hinges on proximity voice chat, stealth, and coordination.

EXPENDABLE ROBOTS

Death is expected; the fun comes from recovering, respawning, and adapting.

RISK & REWARD

Deeper exploration increases danger but provides better loot and progression.

REPLAYABILITY

Procedural islands and randomized POIs ensure fresh runs.

EXPENDABOTS GAME FEATURES

1-4 Expendabots with 3D printers on their backs

Expendabots rely on backpack 3D printers to print gear on the fly.

Printing is tied to a single universal resource — Filament — which is gathered by looting or by converting items into raw material.

3D printed items are free for anyone to pick up. Sharing is caring — and in Expendabots, it matters four times as much.

Hide in the dark or make use of nearby furniture. Different dungeons are home to different threats.

Enemies can’t see in the dark either. But they do react to your flashlight and to various 3D-printed decoys. Also, if they see you run into a closet, that probably won’t help much.

Proximity voice chat makes communication between Expendabots absolutely essential.

Expendabots can only hear each other when they’re close — and that’s also when they recharge each other’s energy.

There’s a catch, though: enemies can hear your chit-chat too. So when you hear strange noises, and you don’t want whatever made them to hear you back… better keep it down.
